| | The Tater Ale | | | This toasty amber ale was originally concieved as a "harvest" brew to celebrate the fall season. Some brewers like to make Pumpkin beers this time of year, but Moon River chose to use Jumbo Sweet Potatoes instead. "There's really no excuse... I just like to say 'Tater!" explains Brewmaster Pinkerton. Another departure from the Pumkin ale tradition is our choice to leave the pie spices out of the beer. Instead we serve each pint with a blend of those familiar spices and ground, roasted pumpkin seeds on the rim of each glass (optional). So, what should one expect from this strange concoction? The beer is basically a not-so-mild English-style Mild Ale, capitalizing on a snappy, forward malt flavor and a floral, herbal English hop character. At 4.5 % ABV, the 'Tater is a bit more forgiving on those of us who arn't so good at sipping! | | Beer Information | | Alcohol Content | 4.5 | | Style | English Mild (sort of) | | Malts | 100% German Light Munich Malt | | Bittering Hops | | | Finishing Hops | 100% U.K. First Gold |

| | Slow-vannah Pale Ale | | | The Slow-vannah Pale Ale is an American-style, Low Alcohol Pale Ale. The Slow-vannah's bitterness is moderate though the dry-hop aromas of grapefruit and apricot are prominant. For a lighter beer, it has a remarkably full body thanks to malted oats. At 4.0% ABV, this is a perfect session beer to sit back, relax and enjoy a few. | | Beer Information | | Alcohol Content | 4.0 | | Style | American-style Low Alcohol Pale Ale | | Malts | Pale Malt Malted Oats Crystal Malt | | Bittering Hops | Brewer's Gold | | Finishing Hops | Amarillo |

| | Sea Bee Honey Bock | | | In the true spirit of American Craft Brewing, we pay tribute to this beer`s German heritage, while adding our own variation with some local character. The flavors of German yeast and malts marry surprisingly well with American hops and Georgia honey! | | Road Trip Hard Cider | | | Back by popular demand, the 2008 edition of the Road Trip Hard Cider is sure to please. Moon River's hard cider is fresh-pressed from delicious, sweet-tart Granny Smith, Pink Lady and Gold Rush apples from the Mercier Orchards in the North Georgia mountains. We actually drive up to Blue Ridge, Georgia to select the apples for our juice and the Mercier`s press 550 gallons for us, while we wait. Then we load up our truck and head home to Savannah, where we pump the raw cider into a fermentation tank, add our brewer's yeast and let 'er rip! Expect a tart and fairly dry, champagne-like character... a pleasant departure from beer, every now and then. | | Beer Information | | Alcohol Content | 6.0 | | Style | Moon River-style Hard Cider | | Malts | | | Bittering Hops | | | Finishing Hops | |
